Coaching vacancy in Alabama seeking a young (at heart) ambitious woman to come to Alabama and be a coach, teacher, and mentor to the 250 girls we currently have playing. In the entire state of Alabama, there is not a single former NCAA women’s lacrosse player to coach (we have 20 or more on the boy’s side). There are 9 high school programs in Birmingham and about 14 youth teams, all coached by parents. We have all the ingredients for success – athletes, world-class turf fields with permanent women’s lines, supportive parents and warm weather. We are simply missing a leader – someone who wants to make her own mark on the game. We are confident we can put together a compensation package that would include a high school team coaching stipend, profits from a club program, and private lessons as a base. We are also committed to supplementing income until the program reaches a point that can support any young woman’s financial needs. Likewise, if there is someone who recently graduated, we can make sure she is set up with a part-time or full-time gig in her professional field. Looking to fill the position pbefore December 1st. Please send resumes to David Link (firstname.lastname@example.org).

We presently have 3 teams and would ask the person to oversee all aspects of the program. This is a part time position and salary is based on experience. Candidates that are interested may send a cover letter and resume to: Patrick Jones, Athletic Director. email@example.com or call 302-892-4311.
